Material records
State the material designation, governing standard and required traceability. For material certificates and test reports, identify the document type and its connection to batches, components or finished goods.
Any material substitution requires review against the project specification and acceptance through the agreed process.
Dimensions & interfaces
For towers and structural components, checks may cover member lengths, connection details, hole patterns and assembly interfaces. The current approved drawing revision provides the reference.
Specify any trial assembly, fit-up records or interface checks before production. Foundation, civil and equipment interfaces remain subject to review by the responsible project parties.
Surface protection & packing
Specify the corrosion protection system, applicable standard, inspection method and acceptance criteria. Coating thickness and preparation requirements are defined for the order.
Packing checks can cover component identification, protection, packing lists, shipping marks and handling requirements.
