Describe the intended use, site conditions and equipment arrangement, then identify the steelwork and accessories required. This helps align the requested package with the project engineer’s criteria and the responsibilities of equipment suppliers.
Lighting & CCTV supports
Lighting poles, CCTV poles, monitoring towers and railway yard lighting structures. Define the mounting arrangement and identify any luminaires, cameras or power equipment requested separately.
Lookout & observation towers
Forest fire lookout and observation structures with project-defined platforms and access arrangements. State the intended occupancy, observation function and equipment mounted at each level.
Industrial support towers
Chimney, stack and flare support steelwork. Identify the supported system and its interface requirements; the process equipment and the supporting tower are distinct purchase scopes.
Radar & navigation supports
Structural towers and support assemblies for radar, weather and navigation equipment. Equipment-specific drawings and acceptance requirements are needed to establish the mechanical supply interfaces.
Protection & training structures
Lightning protection tower structures and fire training tower steelwork. Provide the specialist system requirements and structural brief, including the responsibilities for protection design or training facilities.
Architectural towers
Decorative and architectural steel structure inquiries based on approved geometry and appearance requirements. Define finishes, mounted features and interfaces alongside the project structural criteria.

- State the intended use, site location, overall arrangement and engineer-defined design criteria. Include access, occupancy and clearance requirements where relevant.

- Provide mounting positions, equipment data and connection details. Mark which electronic, electrical or process items belong in the inquiry.
- Supply & inspection
- List steelwork, accessories, finish, required checks and documentation. Identify site work or specialist approval requirements as separate responsibilities.
Scope & specifications
Each inquiry defines the structure and its interfaces. Electronics, lighting design, process performance, protection coverage, navigation approval and site commissioning are established separately by the responsible project parties.
