Supply scope
A steelwork inquiry is most effective when the assembly, its connections and its delivery requirements are described together. BoGuan coordinates sourcing for project-defined steel structures and fabricated components. Send a controlled drawing set and material schedule so fabrication scope, finish, inspection and packing can be considered consistently. Clearly identify whether the request covers a complete structural package, selected assemblies or replacement parts.
Industrial support structures
Steel support frames and components for industrial applications, including tower and stack support arrangements. Define the supported equipment, interface points and engineering requirements in the purchase drawings.
Platforms & access steelwork
Inquiries for project-specified platforms and associated access components. Layouts should identify working levels, interfaces, openings and the included steelwork so the proposed package has a clear boundary.
Building steelwork inquiries
Submit industrial building or warehouse steel schedules for sourcing review. Frame geometry, member details, connection information and the required delivery split establish the basis of the inquiry.
Fabricated components
Drawing-based inquiries for columns, beams, brackets and related assemblies. Item references, quantities and revisions help keep the quoted parts aligned with the current project design.
Information for quotation
Include the following details where available. Mark any requirements that still need to be confirmed.
- Controlled drawings
- Provide the latest general arrangement, fabrication details and bill of materials. State whether drawings are approved for procurement or still subject to project review.
- Materials & workmanship
- Identify the material specification, dimensional tolerances, connection requirements and applicable fabrication criteria. Highlight any special interfaces or features requiring supplier clarification.
- Finish & inspection
- Specify the surface preparation and coating system, together with required records, inspection stages and acceptance criteria. Include any identification that must remain visible.
- Assembly & delivery
- State assembly grouping, maximum handling dimensions, packing preferences and destination. Match the shipment sequence to the intended use or site installation plan.
Scope & specifications
Fabrication scope and supplier suitability are confirmed against the project documents. Structural design, civil works, site erection and the process equipment supported by the steelwork require separate written agreement.
