Supply scope
Substation steelwork connects the site layout with the equipment and electrical arrangement. BoGuan coordinates inquiries for structural columns, gantries, crossbeams and related components. A clear purchase package identifies each assembly, its foundation interface and the items it supports. Supply the current drawings and project specification together so geometry, materials, connection details and finish can be reviewed as one coordinated structural scope.
Columns & vertical supports
Steel tubular or lattice support arrangements defined by the project design. Provide geometry, material requirements, base details and the references needed to connect each item to the site layout.
Gantries & crossbeams
Horizontal members and supporting assemblies for the specified substation arrangement. Identify spans, connection details and attachment interfaces through the applicable drawings and component schedules.
Connection & interface items
Include specified brackets, connection plates and hardware in the assembly bill of materials. Clearly identify items supplied with the steelwork and items belonging to equipment or foundation packages.
Finish & delivery grouping
Define corrosion protection, marking and packing requirements. Assembly or area-based grouping can be requested to align the material schedule with the project’s receiving and installation plan.
Information for quotation
Include the following details where available. Mark any requirements that still need to be confirmed.
- Layout & drawings
- Provide the substation general arrangement, structure drawings, interface details and bill of materials. Mark revisions and identify which documents are approved for procurement.
- Project design basis
- Include the applicable structural criteria and equipment-related requirements supplied by the project engineer. Define the party responsible for checking clearances and approving interfaces.
- Materials & inspection
- Specify materials, fabrication requirements, corrosion protection and required records. List dimensional, assembly or coating inspections and any project witness stages that affect supply.
- Quantities & shipping
- State quantities by assembly reference, destination and delivery sequence. Include packing constraints and the identification needed to match each shipment with its installation location.
Scope & specifications
Dimensions and structural requirements follow the project documents. Electrical equipment, insulation coordination, civil foundations and site installation are separate scopes unless included explicitly in the written supply agreement.
